There have been some recent changes in my health. I'm doing great with the exception of low back pain. This is a normal problem that pregnant women face, but my situation is made much worse than the average mom-to-be because of my pre-existing back injury. Unfortunately the pain has intensified to the point that I will be going out on an early medical leave....3 1/2 weeks earlier than planned. This leave should help because I will be able to rest my back easing the pressure being placed on my spine and joints. My last day of work will be Tuesday, 2/27/07. It may be a bumpy ride, but I'm ready for it!!
We are sooo ready to meet our new little one. We still can't stop wondering what she'll look like, will she be a good sleeper, etc? Only time will tell, but it is so hard to be patient. Her nursery is ready, although she'll sleep in our room for the first few months. We already have enough diapers to get us through the first week or two (thanks Mom!!), clothes to bring her home in and some other important goodies. Wow...I've NEVER changed a diaper before and I hear that she will go through as many as 10 a day. That means it shouldn't be long before I'm a pro. I think I'll let her dad change the really stinky ones. (=
We are so lucky...Sal's mom Yolanda will be caring for our precious little one after I go back to work in July. She couldn't be in better hands! I know she'll teach her good behavior, manners and most importantly...SPANISH! She must learn so that she can teach her mom. (=
